What is The New Nobility Project?
In my book you will see that I call true innovation “noble” because it is forming a new and better future for one’s domain.   A better future is one built on solutions that work in the real world with all its messy complexity –and works in the face of the fact that people tend to behave like…..people with real interests and fears.   Future Forming is difficult, dangerous, specialized work.  That is why many of us find in our particular domain – our organization, industry, field or profession –  the problems have been studied and talked to death, but little or nothing has actually been done  – even though the situation is rapidly approaching crisis proportions.   All the easy, safe, conventional, formula-driven, out-sourced, packaged, detached-expert-white paper stuff has been done and said, but nothing is really changing.  Future Formers are a rare and special case and require special care.

I founded The New Nobility Project to provide that care.  The project will found communities of active experimenters wherever it can.  These communities will be safe and stimulating.  There you can find out who you were born to be in the world and learn to be really good at it – then go back into your domain as the bringer of the new, with the skills and character to see it through.  We will be gathering in real places around the world to form real living communities to do real work and get real results from our efforts that we can use – to eventually get it right.

Until that time, we have created this tavern as a virtual, fun and safe place to meet.   Enjoy.   Just one requirement – contribute more to this place than you take from it.  And contribute what you are uniquely capable of contributing – your own original work.

For a noble – this behavior is only natural.  For nobles always take care of what takes care of them and those they love.  For this is ultimately a work of courageous, creative….love.

Love has many faces. Love sometimes smiling, sometimes laughing, sometimes crying, sometimes she is an angry wild cat, grimacing, hisses, and a moment later thrown in your face, to scratch out my eyes. Fear of such love.
